Your Data Stays in Your Browser

Every tool in Dev Toolset — the JSON formatter, UUID generator, hash generator, and all the rest — processes your data locally in your browser. The text and data you enter into our tools is never sent to our servers. We do use third-party advertising (with your consent) which may set its own cookies — see the Advertising section below.

How Your Data is Processed

All tool operations run client-side using JavaScript. In practice this means:

The data you enter into tools is processed locally and never sent to our servers
No data is stored on our servers
Every tool works fully offline after the initial page load
You can verify this yourself by inspecting network traffic in your browser's DevTools

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember a small set of preferences:

This data is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It collects only aggregate data (page views, top pages, visitor countries) to help us understand which tools are most useful.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense to keep every tool free. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads, limit ad frequency, and measure ad effectiveness.
